I'm Anja, 29-year-old registered nurse and currently in my final year of university. Yes, I know—it has taken me a little longer to get here, but life's journey isn't always a straight path, and that's perfectly okay. 😊
I grew up near Grosuplje, Slovenia, but love brought me to Suha Krajina. What can I say? When you love someone that much, moving is an easy choice. ❤️
I'm outgoing, talkative, kind, and I'll admit—a bit of a perfectionist. I love spending time with my family, adore children, and enjoy discovering beautiful places and creating warm, welcoming spaces.
And yes... redecorating my home with every new season is practically a tradition for me. 🍂🌸
My Beginning...
Before there was a shop, there was a nurse 👩⚕️, a dream ✨, and a deep love for all things childhood. 🤍
I spent years working with little ones and their families, and that connection never left me. It shaped the way I see the world—with gentleness, intention, and a deep appreciation for the small, meaningful things in life.
I created Bloom & Birch 🌿 for people who feel the same way. You'll find wooden toys 🧸, nursery décor, and a carefully curated mix of pieces that simply caught my heart—because that's how this shop works. No rigid formulas, just things I genuinely love and believe in.
Every item is chosen with care 🤍 because the spaces and objects we surround children with truly matter.
Starting wasn't easy. I had no roadmap, no background in business—just a vision ✨ and the determination to figure it out, one step at a time. I'm still learning every day 📚, always open to new ideas and suggestions, and doing my best to grow this little shop with heart. 🌿
